Get to Know Us
In many South Asian communities, there’s still a deep stigma around seeking formal therapy. Talking openly about mental health can feel uncomfortable or even taboo. Yet, everyone gathers around chai. A hot cup poured in the kitchen or shared with friends becomes a safe space to talk about life — family struggles, hopes, frustrations, dreams.
The act of sitting together, sipping slowly, and telling stories functions almost like its own form of therapy. It’s a space where connection and community create healing, even when the word “therapy” isn’t spoken.
